Learn how to enhance collaboration with your team members in Bïrch

The Comments feature in Bïrch enables teams to communicate directly within the platform, providing a clear and organized way to exchange feedback and ideas. By centralizing discussions on rules, campaigns and reports, you can keep all team members informed and aligned.

How to find Comments?

You can access the Comments via the Bird Bubble located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. This feature is available for the following pages and tools:

How to use Comments?

To use the Comments feature, click the Bird Bubble in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Comments will appear based on the current page. For instance, on the Automate page, comments will display for all rules.


Selecting a specific rule will show comments related to that rule only.


All comments, including historical ones, are saved and can be scrolled through to ensure no important context is missed. Conversations remain organized, allowing teams to easily review, respond, and collaborate.

Feedback, questions, or suggestions can be added by typing directly into the input field. The @mention functionality allows team members to be tagged for input or updates. If a user has been removed from the Bïrch account, their mentions will display as [removed user].

Note: comments can only be deleted by the person who wrote them.


Notifications for Comments

Stay informed with comment notifications delivered straight to your email or Slack.


Email Notifications

Notifications are enabled by default and can be managed from the account settings page by enabling the "Receive notifications about comments" option.


If you no longer wish to receive notifications, use the "unsubscribe" link provided in the email. To resubscribe, return to your account settings and enable notifications again.


Slack Notifications​

Notifications about new comments can also be sent to Slack if it is connected through Integrations. You can configure Slack notifications in the Notifications settings:


❗️ Please note that you can choose only one Slack channel to receive these notifications.

Each notification includes the name of the entity (e.g., report, rule, workspace, etc.).

And for each entity, a dedicated thread will be created in Slack. All subsequent comments related to that entity will appear in the same thread.
