Learn about Gateway subsciption, plan changes and overages

Upgrading to a Paid Plan

Each Gateway comes with 10,000 free events. If you need more events, you can upgrade to a paid subscription by clicking "Change Plan":

If you do not have an active Bïrch subscription, you will be prompted to enter payment details for the Bïrch Hub subscription. In case you are already a paid Bïrch user, the new Bïrch Hub subscription will be created using the credit card on file.

Managing Bïrch Hub subscription

Once you subscribe to a paid plan, the fees will be charged monthly. The billing cycle starts on the date of your initial subscription and will automatically renew each month or year unless canceled before the renewal date. The invoices are available on the main Bïrch billing page.

If you need to change your plan, you can do so on the same page by selecting the plan from the list. Both upgrades and downgrades take place immediately. In this case, the subscription price is recalculated on pro-rata basis considering the number of days spent on each plan during the given billing period.

Exceeding the Events Limit

All Bïrch Hub plans come with a monthly event limit. If the number of events exceeds the limit of your plan, you’ll see an additional charge for the events above your limit on the next invoice. Current period overages count is also available next to your plan details:

In case you choose to upgrade your Bïrch Hub plan, overages accumulated before the upgrade will be waived.

Canceling the Subscription

You can cancel you subscription by going to "Manage Billing" -> "Cancel subscription":

Cancelation takes place at the end of the current billing cycle.
