Business Context allows you to provide Bïrch AI with important information about your business, goals, KPIs, naming conventions, and optimization approach. Bïrch AI will use this information in all conversations within that workspace to deliver more relevant recommendations and analyses.
How to add a context
Navigate to the chat window and click on the icon below the text input area:
Insert plain text instructions into the text area in the modal window:
Click the Save button.
Note: If you want to edit or remove the irrelevant information, you can always access the context window in any chat by clicking on the "Business Context" icon. Any member within a specific workspace can access, read, edit, and remove the context text.
What to include in Business Context
Business Context works best when it contains information that influences how performance should be evaluated.
Your business type and goals
Target audience
Seasonality patterns (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
The set of primary metrics and supplementary metrics
Minimum/maximum viable threshold values and target values for KPIs
Performance evaluation criteria (what you consider good, average, or poor performance)
Funnel parameters
Naming convention specifications
Other details applied to your business, a client, or a product
Practical advice: There is no strict character limit, but shorter and more specific instructions usually work better than long paragraphs of background information.
Focus on information that should consistently influence Bïrch AI's recommendations and analysis.
How Business Context affects responses
Business Context adds an extra layer of instructions on top of Bïrch AI for a specific workspace. It helps Bïrch AI better understand your business and prioritize your goals, KPIs, naming conventions, preferred communication style, and internal rules when generating recommendations and analysis.
When your Business Context includes specific instructions, Bïrch AI will prioritize them when shaping its responses within that workspace. For example, if your context says to keep answers brief, use strict naming conventions, or evaluate performance based on your target CPA or ROAS, Bïrch AI will use that guidance when analyzing data or suggesting actions.

💡 Tip: The more specific your Business Context is, the more relevant Bïrch AI's responses will be. If you're not getting the results you expect, try replacing broad instructions like "make recommendations professional" with specific guidance such as "keep recommendations concise and focused on ROAS and CPA".
