Sometimes the payment for the subscription might fail due to various reasons like insufficient funds, online payments being disabled or card expiration.
How to learn the reason for decline
The best way to learn the exact error that prevents the subscription renewal is to check the Invoices section on the Billing page. You will see the failed payment in red, please hover over the exclamation mark to learn about the error:
Kindly triple check that you’ve typed the correct information into all the fields. If yes, please check whether your credit card has sufficient funds on it.
If that doesn't help we suggest contacting your credit card issuer, it's quite common that the banks block the payments on their end.
How to change and manage the payment method
If you would like to use a different card for payment, please add another card on the Billing page:
You can also view and manage all your saved payment methods:
See all cards: the full list of your saved cards (from Stripe) is now visible on the billing page, making it easy to keep track of what's on file.
Set a default card: choose which card you'd like to set as your default payment method, which will be used for future auto-payments.
Remove cards: remove any cards you no longer wish to use. Please note: if your subscription is set to auto-charge and is currently active, at least one valid card must remain on file to avoid service interruptions.
How to retry the payment
Once the issues with the card have been fixed, you can retry the payment by clicking the respective button next to your plan details:
