How Stage pricing works

Learn about Stage plans, media upload limits, and how to manage it

Stage pricing is based on monthly media uploads – how many creative files you upload through Stage each month, not how many ads get created from them. Usage is counted per uploaded file, so an ad built from multiple files uses up more than one upload.

Stage runs on its own billing cycle, separate from your main Bïrch subscription. This is intentional – it lets you choose a different billing interval for each: for example, you could be on a yearly Stage plan while your main Bïrch plan stays monthly. Because the cycles are separate, you'll also receive separate invoices for each.

Tracking your usage

Your current usage is always visible in the top bar while you're in Stage, showing how many uploads you've used against your plan's monthly limit. Usage resets at the start of each billing cycle – your connected sheets, Drive folders, and other settings are saved across resets.

Reaching your upload limit

Once you hit your plan's monthly upload limit, Stage blocks further media uploads and ad creation on Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat until you upgrade:

From here, you can upgrade directly to the recommended plan, or click See more plans to compare all available tiers before choosing.

Stage plans

Plans scale with how many media uploads you need per month:

  • Free – 50 monthly media uploads, no cost

  • $500/mo – 900 monthly media uploads

  • $900/mo – 2,000 monthly media uploads

  • $1,400/mo – unlimited media uploads

Paying yearly saves you up to 29%:

  • 900 uploads/mo – $450/mo billed yearly ($5,400/year, 10% off)

  • 2,000 uploads/mo – $750/mo billed yearly ($9,000/year, 17% off)

  • Unlimited – $1,000/mo billed yearly ($12,000/year, 29% off)

Managing your plan

You can view and change your Stage plan anytime from Settings → Stage plan → Manage plans:

From the Manage plan panel, you can switch between monthly and yearly billing, or upgrade or downgrade to a different tier.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately, giving you the higher upload limit right away, while the upgrade charge is billed on your next invoice rather than immediately.

  • Downgrading doesn't take effect immediately – your current plan stays active until the end of your current billing period, and the new plan starts after that:

Canceling your subscription is available from the same Manage Stage plan panel – the Cancel subscription option only appears while you're on a paid plan.

Note: Cancellation takes place at the end of your current billing cycle, so you'll keep access until then.
