FAQs: Birch EUR and USD billing

I'm an existing EU customer billed in USD - what should I do?

By default, if you purchased any Birch product before October 12, 2026, your subscription stays exactly as it is on USD billing:

  • You're still billed by Birch Team, Inc.

  • Your price, currency (USD) and card stay the same.

  • Your invoices look the same as before.

  • Your product, account and support don't change.

No action is required from you unless you prefer to switch from USD billing by Birch USA entity to EUR billing by Birch EU entity.

Can I switch to EUR billing?

Yes, just let us know. If you'd like to be billed by Birch EU entity in euros, reach out to your account manager or to support@bir.ch / in-app chat, and we'll take it from there.

How will new Birch customers be billed?

All new customers who purchase Birch products after October 13, 2026 with an EU billing address are billed by Birch's EU legal entity, in euros and with EU VAT added.

When purchasing a Birch plan, you will be asked to enter your billing address and Tax ID, which will define whether your billing is in EUR or USD. See How does aour billing work?

I received an email from no-reply@invopop.com – is it legitimate?

Yes. Invopop is our invoicing provider. Customers billed in EUR receive their factura (Spanish legal invoice) from no-reply@invopop.com, with the subject “Invoice [number] from Birch”. This is the invoice to give to your accountant.

When will I receive my factura?

About 10–15 minutes after your payment, by email. Your payment receipt is also available on the Billing page.

I paid but haven’t received my factura

First, check your spam folder. If your invoice is above €400 (VAT included) and we don’t have your tax number, the factura can’t be issued automatically. Send your VAT or national tax number to support@bir.ch, and we’ll email your factura once it’s issued.
